My second photo story for the week is all about an Easter Egg Hunt. This little adventure happens every year at Wallington Hall, a National Trust property quite close to our home in Northumberland. We usually take part in an organised trail which results in claiming a chocolate egg. The Hunt is available on each of the Easter Days. Our day was Easter Sunday.
As the boys have grown up we add a walk into the activity. Most of the families taking part have very small children and the clues are very simple, however, our very grown up boys enter into the fun and still enjoy the chocolate eggs. This year there was a new trail involving ‘Bees’. I learned a few new facts myself !
The weather was rather poor, very damp underfoot - with a potential threat of showers throughout. However, no rain and we had a lovely time.
